Neil, takes pleasure in reminding us he, is the youngest member of the Whaler’s crew and like most of us was totally unaware of the world of Sea Shanties, just a few years ago. But from the start he was hooked, to the extent he’s now totally consumed by it. The whole experience amazes him and would never have dreamed to now be on stage performing. Now a stalwart of the local shanty scene, Neil has made many friends throughout the West Country and beyond.
From school, Neil joined the railway as an engineering apprentice and is now working with the Great Western Railway. Whaling is now his passion, but if he can get away, it will be with Juliet in his VW camper where the Cornish coast draws him like a magnet; plus the pasties!
